Wood Development Company Names Preferred Builders for MuraBella

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, FL – The Wood Development Company of Jacksonville proudly announces that four preferred builders have been selected for MuraBella, a 740-home master-planned community in northern St. Johns County.

Classic American Homes, A Lennar Company; CornerStone Homes; North Florida Builders, A Woodside Company; and Standard Pacific Homes, formerly Coppenbarger Homes; have been chosen to represent the relaxed, Italian-flavored lifestyle envisioned by the community's developer.

"As we traveled through Tuscany recently, we were struck by the beauty of the countryside, the art, architecture and warm friendly atmosphere of the area,” said Rick Wood, president of The Wood Development Company of Jacksonville and managing member of MuraBella, L.L.C. "After careful thought and consideration, we came to the conclusion that these four builders were best suited to make our vision of MuraBella a reality. CornerStone Homes will offer eight floor plans ranging between 1,795 and 3,230 square feet. With prices starting in the mid-$200's, these innovative, luxurious homes will have outstanding features that include: ceramic tile floors in kitchens, foyers, nooks, bathrooms and laundry rooms; elegant owner’s baths with spacious garden tubs and cultured marble vanity tops; kitchens with maple finished cabinets, forty-two inch upper cabinets and General Electric appliances. Other unique design elements are included, such as art niches, computer desks, plant shelves, vaulted ceilings, covered porches (on certain floor plans); and a full security system. Each home will be beautifully landscaped and have yards that are completely sodded and irrigated.

Classic American Homes is offering nine floor plans between 1,811 and 3,000 square feet of living space, that will appeal to MuraBella's customers with a new “Everything’s Included” concept. Prices will start in the mid-$200's and each home will feature ceramic tile flooring in the foyer, baths, laundry room and kitchen; gas or wood fireplace with decorative mantle and tile surround; two inch faux wood blinds; a complete range of General Electric appliances (washer/dryer, refrigerator, range, dishwasher, microwave); a full security system; in-wall pest defense system; and a full sod and irrigation package.

Woodside Homes, North Florida Builders is offering fourteen of their newest floor plans in MuraBella. The homes will range in size from 1,755 square feet on a sixty-five foot home site to 3,381 square feet on an eighty-five foot home site. Prices will range from the mid-$200’s to the mid-$400’s. With twenty-eight years of experience building custom homes, Woodside/North Florida Builders is now excited to take that knowledge and build the same quality of homes at a more affordable price.

Standard Pacific Homes will offer some of their most popular floor plans at MuraBella by featuring The San Marco, The Villa Carmel and The St. Anne. The San Marco, one of the builder's more popular models, is a four bedroom, two and one-half bathroom home that offers 3,331 square feet of living space. The San Marco and other Standard Pacific homes will range from 2,007 to 3,331 square feet on seventy-five foot and eighty-foot home sites. Prices range from the low-$260's to the high-$470's. Although owned by Standard Pacific, the builder will continue to operate under the name of Coppenbarger Homes.
